Real-Time Compliance Reporting
The days of missing paper logbooks and lost certificates are over. GreenTech Scotland utilises a cloud-based asset management system to provide Facilities Managers with total visibility over their estate.
The Client Portal
All contract clients receive secure access to our GreenTech Client Portal. This allows you to:
Instant Retrieval
Download EICR certificates, Fire Alarm commissioning sheets, and Minor Works certificates seconds after the engineer completes the job.
Asset Tracking
View the service history of every individual fire extinguisher, emergency light, and distribution board on your site via QR code tagging.
Audit Trails
Generate a full compliance report instantly when your insurance auditor arrives on site.
Operative Qualifications
Accreditation belongs to the company, but competence belongs to the individual. We invest heavily in continuous professional development to ensure every engineer on your site is qualified for the specific environment they are working in.
Site Safety Cards (ECS / CSCS)
We operate a 100% carded workforce. Every operative holds a valid ECS (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme) or CSCS card, proving their identity, qualification grade, and health & safety awareness.
Safeguarding (Enhanced DBS)
For our work in the Education and Care sectors, we maintain a roster of engineers with Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance. This ensures we can deploy staff rapidly to schools and vulnerable environments without compromising your safeguarding protocols.
Specialist Training (Compex & IPAF)
Our industrial teams hold specialist qualifications for high-risk environments. This includes Compex certification for working in explosive atmospheres (ATEX) and IPAF licenses for operating cherry pickers and scissor lifts when working at height in warehouses.
Compliance Frequently Asked Questions
How do you manage sub-contractors?
While the vast majority of our work is self-delivered, any specialist sub-contractors we engage (e.g., for civil engineering or scaffolding) undergo the same rigorous PQQ checks that you apply to us. We ensure they hold the relevant insurance and accreditations before they set foot on your site.
Do you provide waste transfer notes?
Yes. We are a registered Upper Tier Waste Carrier. For every project involving removal of equipment (such as old fluorescent tubes, batteries, or cabling), we issue a formal Waste Transfer Note. This ensures your business meets its environmental "Duty of Care" obligations and provides the evidence needed for BREEAM or ISO 14001 audits.H3: How do you manage sub-contractors?
Are you CDM 2015 compliant for Principal Contractor roles?
Yes. Greentech Scotland is experienced in fulfilling the duties of both a Contractor and a Principal Contractor under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. For projects where we act as the Principal Contractor (e.g., a direct Solar PV installation), we produce the Construction Phase Plan, manage site welfare, and coordinate all sub-contractors.
What is your limit of indemnity for Public Liability?
We currently hold £5,000,000 Public Liability Insurance and £10,000,000 Employers Liability Insurance. For specific high-value contracts or hazardous environments requiring higher limits (e.g., £10M Public Liability), we can arrange excess layer policies to meet your main contractor requirements.
Need specific documentation?
If you require a specific policy document, lifting plan, or a signature on a bespoke NDA or warranty agreement, our compliance team is ready to assist.
