The Power Behind Your Production

In the industrial sector, electrical infrastructure is the backbone of profitability. Greentech Scotland specializes in the heavy engineering required to keep high-output facilities running. We move beyond standard commercial wiring to deliver robust, high-current power distribution systems capable of withstanding the rigors of the factory floor.

1

Distribution & Heavy Containment

We are experts in getting power where it needs to be, regardless of the environment. Our teams install ruggedised Cable Management Systems; including heavy-duty steel ladder, galvanized conduit, and uni-strut frameworks; designed to protect your cabling from impact, vibration, and moisture.

We manage the installation of Sub-Mains Distribution, upgrading your LV Switchgear and Distribution Boards to handle increased loads from new plant equipment. Whether routing 240mm² SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) cables through a high-bay foundry or installing sterile containment in a food processing plant, our work is built to last.

2

Machinery Connection & Hook-Up

Installing a new asset is a critical moment for your production line. Greentech ensures seamless integration for everything from CNC machines and Conveyor Systems to Industrial Kilns and Crushers.

Our engineers verify the Phase Rotation and load balance before energizing, protecting your expensive motors from damage. We install local Rotary Isolators and emergency stops (E-Stops) compliant with BS 7671 and PUWER regulations, ensuring operators can isolate machinery safely and instantly.

3

Motor Control Centers (MCC)

Centralized control is the key to efficiency. We design and build bespoke Motor Control Centers (MCCs), housing all your starters, PLCs, and protection devices in a single, accessible panel. This streamlines maintenance, reduces fault-finding time, and keeps your sensitive control electronics protected from the dust and heat of the factory floor.

Efficiency is Engineering: Variable Speed Drives

GreenTech doesn’t just wire motors; we optimise them. By retrofitting Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) and Soft Start technology, we allow your pumps, fans, and compressors to ramp up energy usage only when required, rather than running at 100% capacity constantly.

1

Reduced Wear

Soft Starts eliminate the mechanical shock of "Direct-on-Line" starting, extending the lifespan of belts, bearings, and couplings.

2

Harmonic Mitigation

We install filtered drives that prevent electrical noise from polluting your supply network, protecting sensitive IT equipment elsewhere on site.

Production Never Stops

We understand the mathematics of manufacturing: an hour of downtime often costs more than the electrical installation itself.

Greentech operates on an Industrial Shift Pattern. We are equipped to perform heavy infrastructure upgrades during planned shutdowns, evenings, and weekends. Our "Zero Downtime" methodology means we can prepare cable runs and install containment while your lines are active, performing the final "changeover" connection during a scheduled break to ensure your output targets are never missed.
